05.24.06 - New Puffy Ami Yumi Single Written By Dexter
Japanese duo Puffy Ami Yumi release their new single today called “Tokyo I‘m On My Way.“ The song was written by The Offspring‘s own Dexter Holland. When reached for comment Dexter simply said “I don‘t know how I do it. I just do it.”

05.18.06 - Dexter's LA Marathon Shoes Up For Charity Auction
The sneakers Dexter used to run the LA Marathon in March are now up for auction benefiting the Innocence Project, a non-profit legal clinic that handles cases where post-conviction DNA testing of evidence can yield conclusive proof of innocence.
04.05.06 - Greg K At The 91X Punk Rock Pro-Am
Grek K will join members of Bad Religion, Unwritten Law, Linkin Park, Lit, Long Beach Dub All-Stars and others next Friday, April 14 for San Diego, CA radio station 91X‘s Punk Rock Pro-Am golf tournament. The charity event will benefit the Surfrider Foundation and Music For A Cure and will take place at the Steele Canyon Golf Club in Jamul, CA.

03.20.06 - Dexter Completes LA Marathon
Dexter completed the Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday, March 19th finishing in 5 hours, 1 minute and 7 seconds. That was good enough to finish 7900th!
“I hit a wall at about 16 miles“, said Dexter, “but I‘m glad I was able to finish. I shouldn‘t have eaten those tacos for breakfast!“
“I didn‘t beat Oprah‘s time but I challenge her to a rematch,” he added.
Dexter ran to raise money and awareness for The Innocence Project, a non-profit legal clinic that handles cases where post-conviction DNA testing of evidence can yield conclusive proof of innocence.

03.07.06 - Dexter to Run in LA Marathon on March 19th
Dexter Holland has been training to run in this year‘s Los Angeles Marathon.
He‘ll join over 20,000 other runners in the event, which takes place on March 19th.
“All I want to do is beat Oprah“, says Dexter (Oprah‘s previous marathon time is 4 hours, 29 minutes and 30 seconds). “Well, I‘m also running to raise money for a really worthy charity called the Innocence Project.”

12.24.05 - Offspring Might Be Playing A Show Anyday Now!
Dexter mentioned in an interview with The Rock Radio that they were asked to play at a big snowboard event in Germany in December. Since there has been no news about it yet, I assume either it is going to happen soon or that it was turned down. Read the article here.

We‘ve seen a lot of interest from fans looking to contribute directly to our Fan Of The Day gallery. In the past, we‘ve focused on photos that the band and crew have captured while on tour, etc. But since the band are on a break from touring for a little while, we decide to allow you to submit your own photos for posting.
To submit your photo, include a full size JPG image (no more than 450 pixels wide) and a thumbnail image (exactly 75×56 pixels) as email attachments sent to info@offspring.com. Also include a few sentences about yourself and/or the photo (sorry, English language only please). Posting of photos is done at the discretion of Offspring.com, not all submissions can be posted.
